Diary Entries :)

Day One- Over the past 2 weeks we have been working on our blog, trying to get it ready to film and trying to make it as good as possible. We were meant to film the weekend just gone but one of the members of our group was ill, that member has the house that we are going to film with therefore we could not film without them. We aim to have our filming done by the end of today, so we can get on and edit it in the last lesson before half term.

Target Audience :]

We're aiming our film at mid teens to any age above this as its suited for most audiences.

It wouldn't be suited for ages under 15 because disturbing themes throughout, strong language and substance abuse.

Research; Baby Kidnappings

Hiya this is Jack, thought i might do some research into the kidnapping of babies.
The kidnapping of Charles Augustus Lindbergh, Jr., was the abduction of the son of aviator Charles Lindbergh and Anne Morrow Lindbergh. The toddler, 18 months old at the time, was abducted from his family home in East Amwell, New Jersey, near the town of Hopewell, New Jersey, on the evening of March 1, 1932.

Images of mise en scene! (:

The radio plays a big part in the opening scene. We hope to use one like this as it has a family feel to it.

The kitchen also plays a big part in our opening sequence as this is where you are first introduced to the woman (one of the main characters) and the home in which most of the drama and film will be taking place.

We want to make sure that the room where the child is has lots of old and broken toys, this would show that the woman genuienly does want to care for the child, but has pyschological problems as shes letting him play with dangerous and unhyginic toys.

Treatment :)

Opening with an exterior shot of the house with 'feel so close' playing int he background as its playing on the radio in her kitchen. Then the camera moves into the kitchen and focuses on the radio, which then zooms out and you see the woman making breakfast. Then the radio cuts to a newsflash and describes a young boy thats been abducted. Cameras from showing the back of her walking up the stairs and then a shot of her feet walking up. Opens the door and you see and young boy playing with his toys, and the woman then gives him his breakfast. You don't see his face, And you then see the back of the boys head, the women is at a low angle shot to make her seem big and intimidating to the boy and he says to the women ' When can i go home' and the women replies by saying 'This is your home' and then the women approaches the child and as she does the camera slowly approaches her, this will be the final scene of the film sequence.
